At Your New Smile, we are committed to providing a calm and caring experience for both our team and our patients. Please review the following terms and conditions of our service. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a member of our team.
Appointments
Form Completion To ensure a smooth visit, please complete all necessary forms ahead of your appointment. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for form completion. Forms can also be completed via our patient portal, a link to which will be sent to you ahead of your appointment.
Punctuality
We kindly request that you be punctual for all appointments. Late arrivals may result in reduced time with your dentist or hygienist and may require rescheduling, which could involve fees and conditions.
Late Arrivals
For Dentist Appointments (40 minutes or longer): Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in insufficient time to complete your care effectively.
For Hygienist Appointments and Dental Check-ups
Please arrive promptly, as a maximum lateness of 5 minutes applies. Exceeding these limits will require rescheduling (fees may apply).
Prompt arrival ensures efficient and comprehensive care for all our patients.
Emergency/Urgent Appointments
During emergency or urgent appointments, our primary goal is to alleviate your pain through a comprehensive clinical assessment. Please note that definitive treatment may not be possible during the initial appointment.
Respect and Courtesy
To maintain a positive atmosphere, we ask all patients to be respectful and courteous. Disrespectful behavior may result in refusal of treatment and care.
Payments
Accepted Forms of Payment We accept most forms of payment, including major debit and credit cards, as well as cash. BACS payments are accepted for transactions over £500. Cheques are not accepted.
Advance Payment and Deposits
All private services require advance payment or a deposit upon booking. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes to appointments. Specialist appointments require 1 week’s notice. Failure to meet these terms will result in the full deposit being retained. For hygiene appointments, a fee of £30-£80 (depending on the package) applies to appointments not met. For non-private services, please speak to our reception team as missed appointments may restrict future access to services.
Service Withdrawal
We reserve the right to withdraw services partially or in full at any time, as a lot of planning goes into organizing your visit.

Appointment Attendance
Failure to attend an appointment, cancel within 48 hours twice in one year, or attend a dental check-up within 18 months will result in the loss of NHS services at our practice.
